Video game enthusiast and moody 13-year-old Diya’s day starts out rough. It’s the late 80s, and on top of the usual teenage angst—school, bullies, cliques, and annoying adults—Diya’s just moved to a new country, has no friends, and her once-close relationship with her brother is souring. Ugh! But when the only light in her life, her beloved dog Beans, vanishes without a trace, and she finds herself trapped in a mysterious time loop, Diya’s day goes from bad to worse.
