The characters had unique abilities and power-ups or items would be in the arena as well.

Originally planned for release in Q4 2018, the game was delayed to early 2019 to improve its quality. In April it was further delayed to mid 2019.
The game's cancellation was announced on June 20th 2019 after not achieving the quality the developer was aiming for. Read more
