Based on the first three entries of the Ultraman tokusatsu franchise: Ultraman, Ultraseven, and Return of Ultraman, this game is notable for not having the Ultras as controllable characters. Instead, the player battles various kaijus by taking control of the three Defense Teams: SSSP, Ultra Guard, and MAT. At the end of each mission, the player receives funding based on combat performance, such as number of kaiju defeated and amount of collateral damage.
