During fights, the focus of the game, he can either use a variety of standard weapons (melee and ranged) or special abilities (e.g. health regeneration, a shield or invisibility) which use up his spirit energy. This energy automatically refills over time, but is also required to use the powerful Sword of Light. He can also shapeshift into either a strong warrior or a sneaky ghost, but which one has to be chosen at the start of the game. Solving quests and killing enemies rewards experience points which are used to upgrade special abilities and the second form. Read more
